Use the grid filled on the speaking activity to write about one of your friends and/or family members´daily routine. Use the comic format provided here. Print it and write on it, don´t forget to draw what you write about.

Listening: 1st person to 3rd person

Please watch the videos. First, watch the video 1 where Peter Pumpkin talks about his daily routine, pay attention because at the end some questions will be asked and answered. Later on, you will watch video 2 and you will have to answer the questions on the worksheet (to get it click here). You know already how to describe your daily routine, watch out for the questions! They are now asking about Patricia Pumpkin, so please answer them in full sentences using the correct tense form.

Talking about daily routine:
When you want to specify the time you wake up, for instance, you will have to use the expression:
Routine + at + (time) → I wake up everyday at 8 o´clock.
 
When you want to describe your daily routine you can use the following expressions: on + (day of the week); everyday; usually; often; always; never; sometimes...
Ex. On Monday I am in bed at quarter past nine, but on Saturday I go to sleep at ten thirty.
 
When speaking about the different times of the day, we often use: in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, but at night!
Ex. In the morning, I usually wake up at half past seven. At night, I watch my favourite TV show.
